Arms Up CT Patient Positioning Device

Description

The Arms Up device provides stabilization for CT patient’s arms for comfort and better IV integrity. Dual height angled bar makes it compatible with a wide variety of patient sizes.

The removable pillow is designed for patient comfort, contoured to match your CT table, and covered with premium light gray vinyl for durability and easy cleaning. The unit is held in place by the patient’s weight and can also be strapped to the table for additional security, if desired (straps not included). Arm tilts 40 degrees for flexibility to be used with most gantries and procedures.

CT scanners with longer narrow bores  may not be compatible for all patients and studies since the Arms-Up unit may not fit all the way inside the gantry. Current new scanners that are not compatible are Siemens Force and Drive. GE’s current Revolution CT’s and Canon’s Aquillion One scanners ARE compatible.
